Denali/Mt. McKinley Flightseeing
Experience "The Great One" right from Anchorage. You'll fly to within six miles of Mt. McKinley's 20,320-foot summit on this 3-hour extravaganza. Fly over the foothills of Denali to view the entire length of the Ruth Glacier, the Great Gorge and the massive south face of Mt. McKinley where you may spot climbers headed to the summit. Make a photo-stop landing before returning to Anchorage, weather permitting.

Bear Viewing, Redoubt Bay
Enjoy a guided day tour with the opportunity to view Alaska's brown bears in their natural habitat. You'll fly into Lake Clark Wilderness Preserve to Redoubt Bay Lodge, where an experienced natural history guide will take you by boat through bear country. Look for bears as they fish for salmon, and don't forget to watch for other wildlife along the way. Guests also receive a Redoubt Bay Field Guide and enjoy a homemade lunch on the lake or in the cozy lodge.

During your 200-mile safari, numerous bears can typically be spotted from the air as they fish streams teeming with salmon or roam the expansive coast.

The Center provides a unique opportunity to experience Alaska's many diverse Native cultures at one location. Enjoy live storytelling and dancing by Native performers, meet Native artists at work, and walk through replicas of various Native dwellings and talk with representatives of various native cultures.
Anchorage Museum of Art & History
In the state's largest museum, you'll find a fascinating collection of historic displays and contemporary exhibits. The "Alaska Gallery" alone encompasses 10,000 years of history, including rare Native artifacts, authentic pioneer and Native dwellings and an actual section of the Alaska pipeline. It's the perfect place to start your exploration of Anchorage and the entire state.
Anchorage Trolley Tour
Explore Anchorage aboard a trolley for a lively, informative tour. Visit Lake Hood, the busiest floatplane base in the world; Pt. Woronzof, the perfect place to see Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range; Earthquake Park, with interpretive displays explaining the 1964 earthquake and more; Westchester Lagoon, a geese and duck sanctuary and popular access to the scenic Coastal Trail along Cook Inlet.
