Alyeska Resort Aerial Tramway

On this seven-minute ride you'll soar up to the 2,300-foot level of Mt. Alyeska to a viewing deck for breathtaking panoramic views of majestic mountains, hanging glaciers, sparkling streams, towering spruce, and an array of wildlife. It's also the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed midday picnic, a beautiful evening sunset, or to start a fun filled day of hiking, exploring, berry picking, or even paragliding.

Whittier/Prince William Sound Activities

Whittier/Prince William Sound Glacier Cruise

Cruise to the most spectacular glaciers in the calm, protected waters of Prince William Sound. Listen to these massive, 1700 feet tall walls of ice crack, groan and calve into the sea. You'll also see breathtaking scenery, towering waterfalls and wildlife - eagles, seals, otters, porpoises, and bird rookeries - all in relaxing comfort. Choose from two routes: see a wide variety of glaciers or spend more time at select glaciers.

Kittiwake Kayak Tour, Half Day

Located 3 miles across the canal from Whittier is the busy hangout for the Black-Legged Kittiwake sea bird. Your trip starts with basic kayaking instruction in the harbor. This is a terrific trip for those wanting an introduction to sea kayaking, light exercise and adventure.

Passage Canal Kayak Tour, 3/4 Day

Enjoy waterfalls, hidden coves, glacial views and a short hike on this trip. Basic instruction in the harbor and a lunch will be provided. A longer and more strenuous paddle than our Kittiwake route, this paddle will cover six to eight miles.

Shotgun Cove Kayak Tour, Half Day

Just five miles from Whittier is a large cove that we access by charter boat. You'll start your day with basic instruction on sea kayaking within the confines of this sheltered area. The trip involves kayaking along the shore back to Whittier at a leisurely pace and exploring several small coves including Emerald Cove. A light lunch is provided.

Blackstone Bay Kayak Tour, Full Day

Join us for a day of sea kayaking in the ice of Blackstone Bay. This is our most popular paddling destination. This is a perfect trip for people with a limited amount of time. Our day will start with a charter boat ride from Whittier to a beach near the head of Blackstone Bay. We will paddle through the ice floe with harbor seals and numerous sea birds to keep us company. You and your guides will have the opportunity to safely paddle in the tidewater glacier areas of Blackstone Bay while you learn about it's natural history. A hearty lunch and snack is included, along with the two-way boat charter.

Hope/Sixmile Creek Activities

Sixmile Creek Whitewater Rafting

For those up to the challenge, this is the ride of a lifetime! Sixmile Creek is a run for whitewater enthusiasts desiring the highest difficulty level in a guided whitewater trip. Precipitous drops, thundering hydraulics and powerful waves follow one after the other in quick succession as the river drops over 50 feet per mile, cutting its way through three separate canyons and delivering an unforgettable thrill of Class III, IV and V whitewater. Half-day trips cover the first two canyons with Class III and IV rapids. Full-day trips take you through all three canyons and include Class V whitewater.
